This 18-hour graduate certificate is generally designed to provide the necessary ENG hours for students, who already have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or PhD in a discipline other than English, to teach dual-credit courses and college-level courses. The majority of courses will be in the fields of literature, rhetoric, and composition studies. This is an online certificate, though students might opt to take some courses face to face depending on availability. Individuals considering this certificate should first contact their school district to receive confirmation that the graduate certificate will allow holders of the certificate to teach dual enrollment courses.
